YOUR TRUSTED PARTNER IN RALEIGH-DURHAM AND SURROUNDING AREAS
Edie Hartley, Senior Living Placement Advisor & Realtor
As a Raleigh native who grew up in North Hills, I’ve had the privilege of watching our community flourish into one of the most desirable places to live. With deep local roots and extensive knowledge of the area, I’ve built my career helping individuals and families make confident, informed decisions about where, and how they want to live next.
My passion for guiding seniors and their families through life’s transitions was born from personal experience. When my mother-in-law was diagnosed with vascular dementia, my husband and I became her primary caregivers. We navigated every step of her care journey-from in-home support and adult day programs to moving her into our home and ultimately transitioning her into a memory care community. Each stage taught us invaluable lessons and opened my eyes to how complex and emotional these decisions can be.
That journey led me to spend over a decade serving as a Sales and Marketing Director in local assisted living and memory care communities. I earned my Administrator’s License and gained in-depth knowledge of how senior living communities operate their care levels, admission requirements, and regulatory standards. But I also recognized that families often need an advocate who understands both senior care and the real estate process. That’s why I launched Guiding Seniors—a dedicated service to help families explore senior living options and manage the transition from home to community living.
Today, I combine my senior living expertise with real estate services to support families facing one of life’s biggest changes. Whether you’re helping a loved one navigate the move into senior living, downsizing, or preparing to sell a longtime home, I offer strategic support, compassionate guidance, and a trusted network of local resources including senior living communities, downsizers, movers, and estate planners.
Clients and colleagues know me as resourceful, detail-oriented, and deeply committed to doing what’s right. It would be my honor to help you or your loved one make this important transition with clarity and confidence.
Let’s take the next step together.
